嘉生上師簡介

本中心主持嘉生喇嘛（法名噶瑪無畏戒律）於1959年土豬年藏曆八月十五日，誕生於不丹東部一個名為切瑪的村落。十歲時剛好十六世大寶法王於當地弘法，其父攜同四名兒子求見，請求為他們授戒為僧。經法王觀察，最後接受嘉生上師及其次弟為弟子。上師其後跟隨噶瑪巴回印度錫金隆德寺次第接受皈依、沙彌戒及比丘戒學習佛法。

上師十三歲依止迦里仁波切研習佛法及修法儀軌，ニ十歲獲得創古仁波切圓滿傳授噶舉派口訣，更獲法王親授灌頂及法本口傳。另外，博迦仁波切在1977年指導圓滿三年三個月閉關。博迦仁波切亦順緣作為其根本上師。經此閉關，嘉生上師除成就勝樂金剛、喜金剛、金剛亥母、紅觀音等無上瑜珈續部本尊外，更圓滿成就那洛六瑜珈法及大手印等高深法門，及後一直於錫金隆德寺協助處理寺院中的法務。

直至1986年，嘉生上師再跟隨博迦仁波切前往印度大吉嶺寺，進行為期十三個月的時輪金剛閉關。1988年完成此屬無上瑜珈部密續的閉關後返回隆德寺，同年正式授予『金剛上師』的名銜，並被噶瑪迦珠總部委任為噶瑪迦珠(香港)佛學會住持，正式與香港弟子結下法緣，開展弘法利生事業。

1997年任期屆滿後，經香港弟子們多番祈求，上師遂答允繼續留港弘法，合眾弟子之力，於香港成立「佛國密乘中心」，繼續其弘法利生的佛行事業。2010年，由於因緣條件成熟，加上上師祈願眾生獲得更多利益，於是便成立了「勝佛不動洲基金會」，致力籌建不丹「勝佛不動洲佛塔寺」。

嘉生上師為人和藹幽默，謙遜慈悲，熟識多國語言，特別是英語及廣東話，能與香港弟子無礙地溝通，各弟子皆獲法益！

Lama Kelzang

The founder of our center, Lama Kelzang (Dharma name Karma Fearless Preceptor), was born on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Tibetan calendar in the year 1959, in a village called Chema in eastern Bhutan. At the age of ten, when His Holiness the 16th Karmapa was giving teachings in the area, his father entrusted four of his sons to Karmapa and requested him to ordain them as monks. His Holiness observed and finally accepted Lama Kelzang and his second brother as his disciples. He then followed the Karmapa back to Sikkim Rumtek Monastery in India to be ordained and learn the Dharma. His Holiness the 16th Karmapa bestowed the refuge vow, ordination vow (Shramanera vow)and full ordination vow (Bhikkhu vow)to Lama Kelzang in a consecutive manner.

At the age of thirteen, Ven. Kaleg Trulku Rinpoche taught him the Dharma and the rituals, and at the age of twenty, he received the Kagyu teachings from Thrangu Rinpoche, as well as the dharma initiation and oral transmission from His Holiness himself. In addition, in 1977, Bokar Rinpoche, the root guru of Lama Kelzang, guided him a three-year, three-month retreat. Under the guidance of Bokar Rinpoche, Lama Kelzang not only achieved the supreme yogic lineages of Trio of Hayagriva, Vajrapani and Red Avalokiteshvara, but also the Six Dharmas of Naropa and Mahamudra practices. He has been assisting in the dharma activities of the monastery in Sikkim since then.

In 1986, Lama Kelzang went to Darjeeling Monastery in India with Bokar Rinpoche for a thirteen-month retreat on Kalachakra. After the completion of Kalachakra Tantra, he returned to Rumtek Monasteries in 1988 and officially received the title as a “Vajra Guru”. He was appointed as the abbot of the Karma Kagyu (Hong Kong) Buddhist Association by the Karma Kagyu Headquarters. During his stay with Karma Kagyu (HK) Buddhist Association, he established in-person Dharma relationship with his disciples in Hong Kong where he continues to propagate Buddhist teachings.

In 1997, after he completed the term of office with Karma Kagyu (HK) Association, Lama Kelzang agreed to stay in Hong Kong in respond to the request from his disciples. In the same year, thanks to the support from his disciples, he founded Jangchub Puntsokling. In 2010, with all the hard works, Lama Kelzang’s prayers to benefit all sentient beings came to fruition, he successfully established the Sangye Migyur Ling Foundation to build the Sangye Migyur Ling Lhakhang in Bhutan.

Lama Kelzang is a kind and humorous person, humble and compassionate. He is familiar with many languages, especially English and Cantonese, and is able to communicate with his disciples in Hong Kong without hindrance!
